My family and I love the friendly community of Peculiar. It's a great small town with a rural feel, where people still wave to each other when they drive by. Peculiar is a great place to raise a family in a small town, and safe atmosphere. With a population of just 5,000, Peculiar is small, and suburban, but still close to the city. Downtown Kansas City is just a 30 minute drive from this lovely town. Peculiar is a city that is experiencing rapid grown, including new home construction, and small business growth.
