Eat Your Way Through the Menu
You can’t go to El Dorado and not try the Al Pastor tacos, which are one of the most popular menu items, according to owner Alberto Ramirez. However, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Try out one of their awesome burritos or meal plates and you’ll be blown away by the flavor fiesta you experience. In fact, I want to come up with a new challenge – can someone out there commit to trying everything on the menu and telling us the top five best things? Maybe I’ll volunteer for this challenge too.
Community is Family
As mentioned, this is a family-owned restaurant that believes the community is just an extension of their family. They don’t just preach this belief; their actions illustrate it. Through many organizations and town events, El Dorado gets involved in the community. If someone is looking to fundraise, El Dorado will support. If someone is looking to put on a community event, El Dorado has their back. For instance, every Thursday, Dave’s Bike Shop does an Enchilada ride that El Dorado has been involved with for 2 years now.
A commitment to this community is so much more than just lip service; the community can feel when the commitment is genuine and backed by action, and that’s why El Dorado has become such a household name. Their food may be good, but their sense of community is what makes them stand out even more. Alberto is also involved in the Raymore Chamber of Commerce and was named the Raymore Business Person of the Year for 2020. In my opinion, this was incredibly well-deserved, and El Dorado is a business that will always have my support!
